Pop singers Simisola ‘Simi’ Ogunleye and Sammy Yakubu have been unveiled as the latest additions to the label which is known for its unconventional style. For ardent music lovers in Nigeria, Simi’s name should easily ring a bell; the 25 year-old has been making the rounds for a minute. A few years ago she released a debut album with the wedding themed single ‘I do’. She recently released her ‘Restless’ EP to critical acclaim. Sammy has also been buzzing in the underground for a while; his 2012 mixtape ‘A Mixtape and then Some’ got the teen female folks’ attention for a moment. X3M Music will be looking at recreating similar success stories for the Pop singers as was done for Praiz who joined the top notch label in February 2011. ‘Simi is the next big thing. She is a great addition to the X3M Music family. Sammy is an Atomic bomb waiting to explode. This has been a long time coming and we’re excited for him.
